Work Experience

My programming experience began in 1985 (DataFlex ver. 2.3) while working for a wholesale distributor which was looking for a computerized accounting system. As accounting manager, I was asked to find a system with open source which could be modified to fit the uniqueness of this company. The packages available were basic, with little flexibility, until I found a software system written in DataFlex that was completely open. In order to understand it, I needed to learn and understand the code which I found was the most advanced 4GL language to date.
